I remember I logged on with news to blog but once again i forgot. Oh well.

Anyway ! 6Dil Chalet yesterday was fun+awesome+FO SHIZZLE (?!) and I really love our class. Haha sorry watching Big Bang Theory as i type so i can't really formulate proper sentences. Was banned from staying over so I had to leave at 10.30pm, right in the midst of a very exciting/steamy round of Truth Or Dare. GAWD I LOVE MY CLASS.

Back from Phuket !! I absolutely love Thailand cos of the good weather, great food and FABULOUS prices when it comes to shopping. Obviously, my parents are feeling the love too, since this was our 5th trip there.

Nonetheless ! I had fun. And the shopping was extremely satisfactory ^^

Came home with 2 tops, shorts, a romper, 2 dresses, a skirt, a pair of flipflops (wedges), 2 bags, 2 rings, a bangle and 5 hairbands. HAHAHAHA and that's just my stuff, not including the souvenirs I bought.

And because I'm lazy, I'm only posting up 5 photos. 1 for each day. HA ENJOY.

Also, I'm feeling pretty angsty now cos no one ever seems to reply my messages on fb. And I hate being ignored.

Kay so I think an update is due. Been living the Life of the Lucky; haven't had this much fun since, well, never ! Actually I think all this freedom's a little bad for me, don't know how I'm gonna cope once I ''get back" to school.

Sunday: European Association Christmas Concert

A small group of us (lynette gen cass kaijun yangzhen me) formed an acapella group to perform for this charity christmas concert function organised by the European Association.

It was a pretty sweet event, considering it was for underprivileged elderly (all Eurasians, of course). Performances by supposed local celebs like John Melina (?!?!?) and Don Richmond haha ! We sang a few xmas + non-xmas songs, haha the video is SUPERRRRR embarrassing :X

Monday: GOSSIP GIRL MARATHON (L)(L)

Oh. My. Gosh. Seriously, how could I have not discovered GG sooner ?!? I used to think it was just a shallow superficial scandalous serial (haha sorry i like alliteration !!) but BOY WAS I WRONG. It's a shallow superficial scandalous serial with beautiful people !!! And the best thing is, these beautiful people have relationships with each other !!!

Homg.

So basically, I spent 8 hours at Cassy's house just staring at her comp screen and salivating and WANTING MORE. Can't believe we only watched 9 episodes ! (?!) Of season 1 !!! Gah desperately need to get my hands on the dvds to catch up.

So. HOT.

This, my friends, is Dan&Serena, a.k.a the best and most likeable couple in GG. Or at least the first season, so it seems. Dan (Penn Badgley) is like, really really cute and witty and the sweetest thing is, he's like this poor dude who's had the biggest crush on the insanely gorgeous Serena (Blake Lively) since forever. So when they get together, you just wanna jump out of your seat and whoop.

Coolest thing is, Blake and Penn dated in real life ! For 3 years ! Note that it's dated, because they just broke up this year, before I even started to acknowledge their existence, which is beyond depressing.

But even so I stand firm that Blake+Penn make the cutest couple ever, pwns Zac+Vanessa HANDS DOWN. So totally praying that they'll patch it up and get back together and have the most gorgeous babies on earth ):

Tuesday: Easy A Day

Meh so due to some last min change of plans, I went out alone with GenGen. Trained to Dhoby Gaut for some thrift shopping that I discovered via http://sophiewillocq.blogspot.com/ at a thrift store called New 2 U. (You can see the signboard just behind Gen's head)

Anyway, the clothes were pretty much terrible and unbelievably cheap. Nothing cost over 6bucks HAHAHA gen and i were in HEAVEN. Bought this really cute shirt with a cat print on it that was initially priced @ 2bucks, but they have half-price for students on tues, so basically I got it for ONE MEASELY DOLLAR SUCKAH.

Wish they had nicer clothes though, cos everything there was like for old middle-aged people T_T

Quickly trained down to Orchard to catch Easy A @ Cineleisure. Pretty good show ! I think the plot ending was kinda stupid, but the technical work was done really well. And best of all ... PENN BADGLEY WAS IN IT !!!

He played Emma Stone's love interest but come on, we all know that he looks tons better with Blake and probably will only ever have feelings for her. ^^

Wednesday: Stoned at home

Watched Legally Blonde 1 & 2. 1 was better and I now have a better impression of Reese Witherspoon.

Thursday: Narnia-Ikea Outing !!

Voyage of the Dawn Treader w/ nette tian tong ning @ AMKhub. Visually entertaining but the script was so corny ! I was cringing half the time. AWWW I miss Susan and Peter.

Meatball-filled lunch afterwards, followed by an adventure for Tian's new Pikachu through the wonderful world of Ikea.

Saturday: Baby Edward's Party + Double-flea attack

Went for the 3month-birthday lunch for my (almost) newborn cousin Edward ! Cute little thing, but honestly, I don't take very well to babies. They're kinda ... ugly ._.

Really fun catching up w/ the aunts and uncles though. That would sound bizarre, if not for the fact that due to weird relations, they're still under Generation Y.

Trained down to Raffles Place after the lunch to go flea-ing @ Alcova w/ Megan. Exciting much !!! We're true blue flea addicts now.

A little unnerving to browse at first, cos all the people there looked so condescending and unfriendly O.O Haha nothing like the friendly faces at the Haji Flea.

But we still managed to get stuff ! Especially since we finished the entire place in record time and decided to head over to the Flashbang flea at Singapore Flyer Skydeck. Hooray for double-flea attack ! I got 3 dresses, 3 rings and a top for $35. Not my best but still reasonably cheap I guess :) Totally made up for the fact that we got scammed 10bucks by the taxi driver while cabbing from Alcova to Flyer.

WOW so I've finally finished this agonizingly long post and if you've read it till here, I truly applaud you. Next update will be when I'm back from Phuket then, since I'm leaving on Tues ! Whoo fun I even bought brand new (hot pink) sunnies just for the trip ^^

After talking to Gilaine yesterday, I was really inspired to outline my career path more distinctly, and not just sit around wondering where I wanna go after JC. Duh I want to go overseas, but previously I had absolutely no idea where. What the top film schools were, their admission rates+fees, yada yada. So now I'm here googling and I find myself overwhelmed with choices. It's kinda embarrassing but I can't help daydreaming about the possibilities of a my dazzling future while reading all the programmes offered.

^^ teehee.

People who know me well will know that I'm a complete worrywart. And right now, yes NOW, instead of enjoying the glorious holidays ttm, I'm worrying about how I'll ever get to any of those schools. The fees are a freaking fatman bomb and my parents have stated clearly that if I wanna go overseas, it's gonna come out of my own pocket T.T

But I clicked on the doc on scholarships and it's 33 pages long, and despite my constant irrational need to worry, my greater need to procrastinate and be lazy took over, thus forcing me to close the damn document.


Guess this whole hooha about colleges was also spurred by my discovery and newfound love for yet another musically-talented brunette

Apparently extremely popular on youtube, I just started appreciating his downright awesomeness and ability to play like 20 instruments.

He even freaking played Pachelbel's Canon on mobile phones ?!? Like using the beeps non-touchscreen phones make when you press the buttons. Genius man.

And he arranges all these amazing mash-ups and medleys which his partner sings, but seriously, people should be going gaga over HIM instead of his singing buddy.
It sure helps that Kurt's really easy on the eyes too. REALLY easy.

But the coolest fact about him is that he goes to Yale. Musically-talented, slightly nerdy, cute AND he goes to an Ivy League College ?! Do these people even exist in Singapore ?!

On a less depressing note, Nettey came over for a Glee Marathon today, since we were hardworking students and missed out on the entire Season 1 to mug for prelims/O's. Lovelovelove Finn and Kurt, who looks so cute in the first few episodes but not so much in the later eps. And Quinn, of course, the most gorgeous in the whole cast (Y)

Santana is starting to look extremely appealing too ... her skin positively GLOWS and it's pretty obvious that she's got the best bod in the club.

Yeah ... my lesbanic fetish starting up again :/ Sometimes it comes this close to overstepping my very normal obsession over Angmohs.

I guess you could say I have this really silly insecurity that my juniors won't like me anymore now that I'm not in choir with them.

Never felt so lonely in my life.

So glad my red dress turned out alrighty in the end, i was afraid it would look too plain :D Ugh but so many girls wore red on that night ! Not special anymore ): But no matter, everyone looked really really pretty !

Met w/ Nette + Tings + Boon to do hair @ Far East before going and they curled my hair until damn taitai-like. Then we rushed off to do express mani-pedi which was so express that I smudged it 2mins after it was done ): Then rushed off to Swissotel to rehearse w/ choir greens and finally got to change. Flower helped me do eye makeup haha it smudged towards the end so I think I looked pretty darn tramp-like.

But yes ! Food was pretty good and everyone looked gorgeous :D Just before our turn to go onstage I started chattering and shivering (as I always do) so badly that Gen & PeiYun had to start rubbing my arms. But I guess it turned out OH-KAY just hope we could even be heard ~

Lots of photo-taking preceded before we finally retired to the hotel room. More photos, gossiping and at long last, sleep. 12 of us squashed into 2 adjoining rooms HAHAHAHAHA EPIC. Rueiern+Gen+Wen+Lynette+me jammed into the king-size bed while the others shared the 2 queen-sized. In the morning I went to check on them and they even placed all the armchairs at the bedside for their outstretched legs. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. Yep so in the morning had macs for breakfast, talked/played loads more and went home voiceless.

And basically, I've been going out everyday since. Seriously, not one day of homestay I think I'm gonna set a record ! ^^ Watched HP7 (which was absolutely AWESOME i love david yates now), shopped tons and spent wads of cash in the past few days. And I caught Prince Caspian for the very first time and now I'm officially a Narnia fan. Wish Susan and Peter didnt have to leave so fast ):

Last note to this obscenely long post: GO LISTEN TO THE CALL BY REGINA SPEKTOR !! They used it at the end of Prince Caspian and it was absolutely magical. For some bizarre reason I was so touched by it I went to sleep thinking about it and even woke up with it in my head. Wanted to cry cos it's so darn appropriate for the movie ! HEE.

I was a little skeptical about it at first, esp being the smallest one opened and having 2 great rides that werent even opened yet, but it turned out pretty good ! Or maybe it's cos I went with a whole bunch of the MEP girls (L) Plus the weather was fantastic !



Lots of laughter and photos and for me, incessant applying of sunscreen ^^ I got a little sick towards the end, must have been all the head-pounding music they blasted throughout the park. Favourite segment of all time is definitely the New York part, everything looked so authentic and pretty !! Ning the lucky cow gets to go there end of the year omg ENVYYYYYYYY. And I really liked the Steven Spielberg show and Monster Rock show too haha. Count Dracula is tre sexy ;)



Rides were just okay though. Too short for my liking :/ I guess best ride goes to The Mummy's Return since I'm a huge roller coaster fan. Plus the queue was like the shortest, so thumbs up for that !

Choir Farewell today. The 2+ hours of partying werent anything to rave about, but the gift/letter exchange at the end was beyong touching. And i just finished reading all the letters from everyone. Ohmygosh seriously, no words can express how touched I am. Surprisingly, the best lettters were from the juniors, and if i see another "You're the greatest/awesomest/best SL ever" I think I'll pinch myself. I have the best juniors ever, without a doubt, and I'm not just referring to sop ones. Really cant believe I have to leave all of this behind. Then again, turns out I dont feel so mortally depressed as I had expected (and prepared myself for). I guess the reason is that I know that choir is and always will be a big part of me and even if I leave, I can't ever let it go. It's comforting to know that I'll always have this with me forever (:

Much has happened. MEP practical for O's is over ! Can finally relax and start concentrating on Grade8 voice + piano dip ~

And studying is so not my thang. Try as i might, i can't really bring myself to do paper after paper !!! Most productive I've ever had is 3 papers in a day ): Chem is driving me mad, I hate "applying my knowledge". To comfort myself, I constantly remind myself that I am, in fact, knowledgeable. I just have zero application skills. Righto.

Anyhoo, I remember I found Ms Lim on fb eons ago, when she still had no friends. Today, facebook asked me whether I wanted to add her cos we had 10 friends in common. Seriously ?! Choir members actually dare to add her ? Big shocker. Totally cant tell from the way they make no effort to communicate/respond in choir. If a grey/red badge adds her I think I'll laugh.

Sorry, I didn't mean to come off as so offensive. But preparation for O's has made me a bitter old lady. I WANT/NEED WORDS OF ENCOURAGEMENT. AND HUGS. IF YOU SEE ME IN SCHOOL, HUG ME.

Kay so this week has been ... productive ? I'd like to think it has. I finished Group 1's farewell presents ! Hooray, getting started on the greens' now and I still have no idea what to give my sop ones. Oops.

On the topic of choir, I'm seriously sick to the stomach because of a particular section. After talking to Lynette, I realise her words ring true. They think they're good but the only thing they really are good at is poaching all the good singers from other sections. Whenever they're bad, they reshuffle, so it seems like their standard is being constantly maintained or whatever shit. Happened during blues' year and it just happened again. Whatever, I guess I shouldn't care so much, considering I'm not even part of sn choir anymore and therefore have absolutely no business sticking my butt in but if that's how a choir works, then I'm kinda glad I'm not part of that anymore.

Like, wtf okay, the whole of this year sop one was suffering and going through so much shit and there were so many times I felt like breaking down and just giving up. I got so helpless I even approached joey. She told me to ask for a reshuffle but in the end I didn't. I didn't want anyone to get reshuffled out without even getting a chance to properly prove themselves and besides, who likes getting reshuffled ? There you go, living proof that I have morals. But not this section, oh no. First thing they do when they suck is go for a reshuffle. God.

And I don't even know if I miss my sop ones because so many of them are not there anymore so it doesn't even seem like sop one anymore. Ugh.

Afterwards, I got dragged into Psycho Bay's need to take photos with all my leeettle american neighbours, who always come out at 5.30pm sharp to play. I think it's been programmed into their bioclocks. We discovered a child star by the (unflattering & oh so unsuitable) name of Patrick ! Haha that one's definitely gonna grow up into a heartbreaking HAM (hawwwt angmoh ;D)

Oh and Camp Rock 2 ! Uhhh. I guess you can say my obsession for CR has finally died down. I guess it was pretty alright, the producers were smart enough to distract us from the sucky plot with dazzling, horribly mix-matched, COLOUR-CLASHING-MAKE-YOU-GO-BLIND clothes and make-up. And Demi !!! What the hell happened to her ??! She used to be so pretty, even to the extent of gorgeous. And now ... 3 words: Bad Dye Job. I don't even want to start on the disturbing way in which her face changed. It's scary.

I guess the only part I liked was Nick's sweet singing to Chloe Bridges, who amazingly sounds a lot like Anne Hathaway. What I would give for a singing athlete to come my way.

I take back whatever I said about RJC having the best uniform in singapore. White blouse w/ folded sleeves + green pleated skirt holds nothing to the SAS.

Seriously ? A white polo tee and a black miniskirt ? How is that even a uniform ? But it is so much better looking than a frumpy pinafore that refuses to change in length even though I SWEAR I GREW. Not in self-denial. Then again, it sure helps that every single student there looks like a super model. IT IS NOT FAIR. WHY ARE THE GIRLS SO SKINNY AND HAWT. IT'S LIKE, EFFORTLESS. DO THEY EVEN EAT MEAT ?

Went back to wdp to visit Mrs Ong (& Ms Lam, but couldnt make it in the end): ) Met up with these awesome people from 6Diligent06. I swear, P6 was really the best year of my life and I genuinely miss every single person there. Primary school was probably the only time when people werent fake and two-faced. Miss everything about it.

And now I'm "reconnecting" with Hidhir on msn haha okay turns out he's less annoying than I remembered :D He produced a priceless quote which I wholeheartedly agree with :

Last night, I had a most rare vision.

Through the eyes of Hermia, I witnessed Lysander woo Helena, and felt immortally jealous because I was keen on him. On my way to confront him, I bumped into Demetrius, who -cough- fell in love with me at first sight.
(This next part's a bit hazy) We experienced a crazy series of events in -would you believe it?- the woods, and I slipped and was left clinging onto a tree branch for dear life. Demetrius in shining Athenian garb jumped off a cliff to save me (even though I have no idea how that is humanly possible. hmm, maybe the work of fairies.) which led to me beginning to take a shine to him.
Lysander began to get jealous that Deme and I had such an awesome relationship while all he had was well, Helena. So he ditched her and began a wild chase in wooing me.


And I woke up. But the whole dream was so weird. It was as if I was seeing the untold story of the 4 lovers before MSND was even written, which would have made a lot of sense. I mean, everything fell into place ! :

1) Demetrius was in love with Hermia at the beginning of the play
2) As what Egeus said, Lysander "bewitched the bosom" of Hermia [into falling in love with him again]
3) Lysander was so fickle that the love-juice was a mere excuse for his infidelity in wooing Helena
4) Helena was always a pathetic, swooning fool.

Or maybe I'm just that little bit too obsessed with MSND. But it is such a beautiful play.

I am so glad, and yet, so supremely mothereffing disappointed in myself. It wasnt bad, per se, but I know I can do so much better. I'm not really the religious type, but I'm praying so hard things will turn out fine. (actually, not just fine. Damn frickin awesome, more like). Now, everything lies in the hands of God.

Been going mad the past few days over stupid MEP cover pages. I had to reprint so much stuff !!! Wonder how many trees are being chopped every year for all the MEP kias in singapore. Now, when I thought I finally got it perfect, Ms Foo says I printed the wrong one. I think I wanted to cry on the spot. She said ''blanko" it, but I can get pretty anal at times.

And I never thought I'd say this but, I'm getting caught up in YOG ! The sports are actually quite thrilling, esp swimming w/ all ze hot guys (Y) Did anyone catch the Russian Federation team and this Ukranian swimmer ? SSSSSSSSSSSSSS. Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha.

Going off the deep end. No sanity left for homework.

Today was so much more fun than a typical Sunday :D Choir brings such love and joy to this sad, bleak bleaugh world.

Went to studdayye @ NLB (the mothership library at bugis) and then surprise choir who was performing for cip there. A little disappointed cos so many people I wanted to see werent there :/ Elbs, Gilaine, Amanda Lee, Sonia, Denise, Eli, Joelle etc. Nevermind, choir was (semi) great and whoever was there seemed genuinely happy to see us. YAY LOVE MY SOP ONES (HOORAY FOR FAVOURITISM) But it felt so strange watching them and not being part of them for the first time.

Omg it's totally different from josh lah duh but I got freaking goosebumps just listening to him !! So now I reallly love Don't Stand So Close To Me. Glee makes you really appreciate the classics ~

I have this terrrrrible habit of missing Russia/choir very badly whenever I study. It's just this wave of sappy gloom that prevents me from studying my very best. GAWD I MISS THE AIR THERE. And even though TohBanSheng said Ms Lim was crazy for making us stay in St. Petersburg for a whole week+, I'm glad we did. I truly enjoyed every friggin minute. And now I think we didn't stay long enough D':

I think people secretly think choirgirls are weird/annoying for loving their cca so much, but they just don't get how special choir is. In fact, I think some choirgirls themselves don't get it. But it's alright, I think Lynette and I have enough passion to make up for them :D

Monday was The Magic Flute FOC courtesy of Jean, Tuesday we had learning journey to the Discovery Centre, Fridayy was Big Boon's Birthday Ice Cream Treat @ Marble Slab (lovelovelove) and today i went studying/shopping with my yammies Megan and YuenPing.

Bought two hairbands and a pair of red Rubi shoes (even though I once swore I'd never buy from Rubi since they, err, suck.) Haha now I'm really Dorothy ! WAMBY inside joke ;D
