I'm getting a wee bit complacent/lazy even though blocks aren't over haha. Treated myself to Burlesque ytd right after I got home from the horrendous math paper. And I've been freely using the computer even though my music practical is just tomorrow. Right.

Badly in need of a holiday, since that pathetic study week in march didn't count. The only highlight of the whole week was dinner w/ Manda and I miss her so ): All the other little ladies too, esp meg, whom I haven't seen in forever.

Yeah super zonked out but that's no news. Had a delightful sunday night attending the 7byONE concert @sota last weekend. Met up with so many stnicks choir people it just felt like a huge choir reunion/gathering (': Aww I love being so involved in the choir scene in Singapore.

Gen all grown up. Wearing the dress Nette bought her and heels and all. And she finally got rid of the motherawful old bearbear bag of hers so that's some cause for celebration.

In other news, ARES owned at Dfeste!! So proud of the juniors for being able to pull through on judging night despite all the unexpected technical glitches that freaked the entire j2 comm out. Lots of drama (not pun-ny) that night; let's just say petty is the new mean and we should all forget everything and just camwhore our nights away because taking photos is therapeutic. Amen.

I've got a massive headache from staring at the computer screen all day attempting to be productive but winding up ogling pretty girls. At this rate, it's no wonder I've been mistaken for being lesbian before. Ah well

And the weather is excruciating; humid as hell and now I feel stickier than muahchee. Nothing dastardly exciting recently, possibly the most titillating thing I did was attend The Real Thing @ DBS Arts Centre (which took a century to find cos it's so goddamn obscure such that we ended up entering 1/2hr late). Oh and costume-sourcing @Little India/Chinatown ytd with the h&m comm. They're such sweetums :>

Shitload of work and backlog homework to catch up on though, not to mention study for the impending Blocks, find a good venue for FO2, complete all my filing and practice piano. Would it be too much to ask for an extended 48 hours in a day?

Orientation fc-style has been so uber hectic this week we've all been completely rushed off our feet. Every fac comm member in school is praying for an extension on hbl hahahaha.

But all this madness is kind of worth it, especially when you look at this year's batch of amazing j1s, so enthu and sweet you look forward to coming to school everyday to give them the perfect orientation. And omg when the entire Ares j1 batch stood up during campfire perf and tutted with us I swear we were all just gonna cry on the spot. It's little things like this that seriously touch the heart and make me wish I had been even more of an enthu sport during my own orientation last year.

And 12A10 is truly the sweetest class on earth, I can't believe I was ever worried about them being weird/horrible. I'm so glad that in a way, I got my shot at being an "OGL" and having my own little oglings to look after and rahrah, esp since this og is so amazingly cute and nice.

THEY PLAYED WHAT MAKES YOU BEAUTIFUL WITH MUSICAL INSTRUMENTS WHEN I CAME TO FIND THEM AT THE BPA OKAY.

It was definitely one of the most horrible feelings in the world losing war games, esp to the underdog, but that's why we're gonna make up for it tomorrow. Tomorrow the God of Dance returns, and we're gonna blow everyone away so hard that Ares Fac Comm '11/'12 is gonna leave a legacy behind.
