I MISS IXYS 4 LIKE MAD.
and i dont even know them THAT well.
I hope orientation in hwach will get better (ie. friendlier and funner D:) My OGL's really nice though, he seems to really want to bond the group, not that I can blame him.
GAHH IT'S SO FRUSTRATING TRYING TO MAKE FRIENDS WHO SEEM TO BE HAPPY WITH WHAT THEY HAVE.
In fact, I kinda miss the 3 other appeals from vj. They were so naaaaaaaaaaaaaaise )':

PLEASE EVERYONE, PLEASE WATCH BURLESQUE.
IT IS SO EFFING AWESOME THAT I AM ONCE AGAIN RENDERED INARTICULATE.
JUST LOOK AT CHRISTINA IN THAT PHOTO UP THERE. DO YOU NEED FURTHER CONVINCING ?!?!
I've never been a fan of Aggy, but seriously this movie totally raised my respect for her. Not only is she the epitome of Vocal Perfection, she's got the acting chops too ! I was (pleasantly) surprised :D
Yep so, go watch it, seriously. It's flashy, loud, and complete with a star-studded cast. Plus, you will never look at Christina Aguilera / slutty outfits the same way ever again.

STANLEY TUCCI !! and Cherrrrrrrr
HOMGAHHHH HE IS SO HOT IN THIS MOVIE. AND IN EVERDAY LIFE.
And Manda+Megan came to stay over for a Johnny Deppathon ! Have I ever mentioned how much I love Johnny Depp ? 8D Sweeney Todd & POTC are the best best best best best best.

So ... I got my results and I made up my mind.
After talking to damn a lot of people, I decided I'm gonna take the jc route after all. I mean, I can always take poly courses after jc, or even transfer to NP if i want to. Plus, open house(s) today played a big part. Let's just say the choir people in hc are really nice :D
GAWD I HOPE I CAN GET IN THOUGH. Of course I'm extremely grateful for my grades, but i cant help but wish I had gotten just one more A1. That teensy weensy rise up the bell curve would frickin eliminate all my worries right now D:
I PROMISE I'LL STUDY HARD AND NOT FALL ASLEEP IN CHINESE (which i, unfortunately, have to take in jc -sob-), JUST PLEASE LET ME INTO SLIPPERY CLOCK/ FLOWER WORM.
And I wish my mum would stop trying to dictate my whole life. I dont fricking want to do BCME okay. Irritating.

So ... I went to Ngee Ann Poly Open House, and that was probably the worst decision I ever made. Because of that, I am now completely 100% torn between going to jc and poly.
People keep telling me to follow my heart, and though I keep making excuses for the other one, I guess I already know where my heart lies. But apparently that's just not good enough for my parents. I really hate the fact that they refuse to try and see things from my point-of-view, or even acknowledge my interests and likes. Is it really that wrong to want to pursue something I am honestly passionate about ? And though they deny it, I know it all comes down to one thing, face. If I do go to poly, they'll lose face. It's a hand-in-hand thing.
If the next time I see you I say I'm in poly, would you judge me ? Would I try to make up for it by saying it was my own choice ? The answers are pretty obvious.
I dont know. Is it me being stubborn when I say I have no interest in being a doctor/lawyer/banker/BIGBUCKSMAKER ? I just want to try my hand at what I like (and what I presume I'm good at), see if it works out and hopefully spend the rest of my life doing it enthusiastically. Is jc the only route for me to achieve all that ?
All this is pretty redundant considering I haven't even gotten my results. Hope everything falls into place after monday.

So, the end of 2010 finally came yesterday, and well, HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE !
Last year (wow this sounds so weird) held so much for me that I just can't find the words to even start expressing myself. GAH THIS IS SO ANNOYING !!! I am not usually this inarticulate, I assure you. See I bet inarticulate isn't even a word.
ANYWAY, I guess out of the 4 years of my life in secondary school, the last was definitely the busiest and most interesting. Filled with amazing people, photos, memories, tears and more. Wow I can't even believe all this cheese I'm producing. But yeah.
So what better way to round up the year then to do a play-by-play of all the biggest events in my life in 2010 ! With photos, naturally, taking into consideration my extreme need to take photos wherever I go as part of my bizarre personality. HEE ^^
(oh but forgive me, my memory fails me from jan to may, or maybe nothing big happened then :/)
Comm Interviews @ Celeste's unexpectedly saw tears from the whites, and a squeamish nervousness that I had never seen before.
haha but I'll admit I still had loads of fun acting scary and coming up with the most difficult-to-answer questions ever :D And it was a huge thing to me because firstly, the green comm members bonded and became even closer and secondly, I got to see a side of a lot of the juniors that I never knew existed, including both whites & greys.
JUBILATE was in a word, amazing. Admittedly the first part of the day was a little sticky thanks to the greens' plan to ignore the rest of the choir as a form of immature punishment for bad attitude haha. But everything cleared up in the end once the cameras were whipped out (SEE THE MAGIC OF CAMWHORING ?!), and the gifts/flowers/cards from everyone put us all in a good mood (:

Then there was the greenbadge curtain-warmer that had us running around like mad ducks and missing out a whole lot more of camwhoring ! But yeah, 1st time properly performing in front of the school without the rest of the choir and I even had a small, ridiculous stint as a beatboxer. DONT LAUGH. Haha okay it's so dumb even I laughed. But it was fun ! And the audience actually gave good feedback !
RUSSIA. RUSSIA RUSSIA RUSSIA.
I must have been a very good girl to have been blessed with the opportunity to go overseas with SN Choir, and to Russia, no less. As if the time spent w/ them during normal choir pracs and Jubilate wasnt enough, I got to spend 10 whole days in a foreign country singing, shopping, loving & laughing with the best people ever.
There were so many gorgeous photos to choose from and I really couldnt decide, so I just settled on this one with us doing our signature pose from our signature song. Honestly, it's like, sing a canto song about food and that's the only song audiences will ever remember.I guess the next big thing after the trip was my Sweet 16th.
Was really pleased that people still remembered even during the mugging period and filled up my inboxes. But I shall be a little whiny here and complain that I didn't get a legendary birthday that every girl is supposed to have on her 16th birthday ): And there were really little presents too harrumph.
HA. This next picture actually came from an album titled 'Oh my O's'
Yep. No doubt the biggest "event" and period of 2010 and my life. I'm serious, I've never mugged as hard as I did during october for the O Levels. Went to Republic Poly almost everyday to study from dawn to dusk (literally) with different study buddies. Most frequent were Lin Jian and Megan, thanks dears, couldn't have made it through (alive) without y'all ;3
And finally, O's were over !!!! Screamed and celebrated on that last day of bio paper and really just went mad with joy. Well, next up came Choir Farewell.

It was glee-themed and yes, I went as Sue. And yes again, I looked the best. (HAHA) Well I hardly or never post photos of myself on my blog but I couldnt find any other better :/
Sigh been through so many partings and faux farewells that even this one didnt feel real. Like it was just a formality. But I still treasured it, esp the touching gift-giving at the end.
Oh SN Choir, you have no idea how much I love you guys.
PROM was perfect. I don't even care if we paid $80 for food that wasnt really that wonderful, the night was one I'll never forget. More photos than any other event cos everyone looked gorgeous and every single photo I have is gorgeous that once again, I can't choose :/
